AMBE School Plan- January 2022
Due to the positive cases within the community, we understand that some families prefer to keep their children at home during this uncertain time. We also know that for many families keeping their children at home is not an option as they must leave the home for daily work. We acknowledge that many families have experienced the challenges with online learning during our last school year.
Therefore, after much discussion with health experts and review of the neighboring community school plans, the AMBE Board has developed a plan to support our families while prioritizing the health and safety of our staff.
Please contact your child's school to advise the teacher and/or Principal of your choice based on options below. Deadline to notify the school is Thursday, January 6, 2022 at noon.

On Monday, January 10, 2022 both online and in-person learning will begin.
Head Start, K4 and K5 classes will be available onsite only for those families that need or wish to continue sending their children to school. It is important to note that the Online Learning option will only be available for children in Grades 1-8. The K5 children who do not attend in-person will receive packages of work that can be completed with some home-support.
Child Care Center will open on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 only for families who cannot work remotely. If your work requires you to be onsite, childcare will be made available for those enrolled. As of Monday, January 10, 2022 Child Care will once again designated as Emergency Care Only. Families must resubmit proof of essential care requirements.
We are planning to resume onsite school in February, however we will re-evaluate in two weeks.
